I'm sure at this point in time you've looked at several other photographers' websites with your jaw on the floor at the amount it takes to secure a session to capture one of life's greatest treasures. Yikes. Before taking a peek at my collections, let me share this: your newborn & family photos are some of the only tangible things you walk away with from the time you bring your baby home to the time they graduate high school. Now, read that again. Instead of throwing your hard-earned money at your cousin who recently bought a point & shoot or your good ole trusty iPhone, invest in a photographer that is ready and willing to INVEST. IN. YOU. One who promises to invest in your story, your day, in your families & children - the things that make you WHOLE - because, let's face it, if your photographer doesn't know what makes you you, how can you expect them to capture how you want to remember feeling during this time of total bliss?

Your next step is to reach out & inquire! Head over to my Get in Touch page and tell me all about what makes you, you! From there, we'll get to know each other to ensure we're a good fit! Once you're ready to book I will draw up and send out a virtual contract + invoice. All collections require a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your session! The remaining funds are due prior to your session start time.

Questions:

Q: When & what time will our session take place?
A: It will depend on your session and time of year. Generally speaking, your family session will take place outdoors, in-home, or in my studio. Lighting is the number one most important element in creating breathtaking photos. The best light is at sunrise & two hours before sunset - so ideally, we'll be shooting in the early morning or in the evening - unless indoors where lighting won't play as big of a role.

Q: How far in advance do you book out? 
A: Because I work a full time job in addition to photography, have a family of my own, and I'm not mentally insane, I only book out 8 months in advance. You never know what plans God has in store (AKA babies... I am talking about babies). 

Q: What should we wear for our session?
A: Great question! The second cornerstone to beautiful photos hinges on what you wear. That said, I have an entire guide that will help you choose your outfits - it even breaks down separate tips for him + her. But here are some good key points: 
-Aim for neutral colors.
-Layers are your friend! They add interested & texture to your photos. 
-Avoid anything with intense patterns

Q: When will I receive my photos?
A: Editing time varies depending on the time of year, amount of photos taken, in addition to other variables. I generally shoot for 3-4 weeks for family/newborn sessions + other 1 hour sessions & 8-10 weeks for weddings! Keep in mind, I also work an 8-5 job that requires travel. While photography is my passion I do have other obligations to tend to.
